Basic description of fractures

Back from the holidays! Hopefully everyone enjoyed the short time they had off.

Need to describe a fracture? Get all the basics in one “BLOC”.

B = Bone (What is the name of the injured bone?)

L = Location (Is it distal or proximal? Is it at the metaphysis, diaphysis or epiphysis?)

O = Orientation (Is the fracture transverse, oblique or spiral?)

C = Closed/Open (Is the fracture open or closed?)
